Install the Trusty DEB packagesĪnd install with (in this order) sudo dpkg -i mongodb-org-server_3.0.3_b In this case, install the Debian Wheezy packages as described at the end. It's possible, that MongoDB doesn't start if you use the Trusty packages: Failed to start rvice: Unit rvice failed to load: No such file or directory.
